The 2021 GRAMMYS performers have been announced and a variety of rap stars are on the roster. Artists like Cardi B, Da Baby, Megan Thee Stallion, Lil Baby, Post Malone, Roddy Rich and Killer Mike will perform. Representing and honoring an array of talent, the GRAMMYS will air Sunday March 14th, 7:00PM CT on CBS.

Megan The Stallion with two nominations for Record of the Year and Best Rap Performance for Savage Remix (feat. Beyoncé). Lil Baby is nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song for The Bigger Picture. Doja Cat is nominated for Best New Artist and two nominations for Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance for Say So.
Da Baby is nominated for Best Rap Song, Best Melodic Rap Performance and Record of the Year for Rockstar (feat. Roddy Rich). Bop is nominated for Best Rap Performance as well. Roddy Rich has three nominations alone for The Box, with Song of the Year, Best Rap Song and Best Melodic Rap Performance.
Trevor Noah will be the host this year and in an interview with Billboard, when asked about some of his favorite GRAMMYS performance, he mentioned Kendrick Lamar.
“Billie Eilish really brings it at the awards shows, she’s phenomenal. Bruno Mars has put in some of my favorite performances, he’s in my top 5 Grammy performances, hands down. Kendrick Lamar’s performance a few years ago was really powerful.”
Veteran artists like Drake, Big Sean and Travis Scott are also nominated in the Rap Category but it’s nice to see a variety of new rap artists being acknowledged for their phenomenal music over the last year.
