Donald Trump Considers Pardons For Rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black

Kodak Black was sentenced to 3 years and 10 months on federal weapon charges. Lil Wayne pled guilty to illegal weapon possession while traveling to Florida on a plane back in 2019.

Kodak Black could be a free man soon, and Lil Wayne could escape jail time. The soon to be former president Donald Trump is considering pardons for New Orleans rapper Lil Wayne. Who showed support for Trump during his 2020 presidential campaign. And was recently convicted of possession of a weapon. And Florida rapper Kodak Black is currently serving time for forgery.

In December, Lil Wayne pled guilty to illegal weapon possession while traveling to Florida on a plane back in 2019. If he is convicted, the “Lollipop” rapper could face up to 10 years in prison.

Kodak Black was sentenced to 3 years and 10 months on federal weapon charges. He was recently denied an early release after making several pleas. He also reached out to Trump. Offering to pay $1 million to a charity if his early release was granted.

According to Bloomberg, before his term as president ends, Donald Trump discussed pardoning himself and rappers Lil Wayne and Kodak Black. Also, on the list included Jeanine Pirro’s ex-husband Albert Pirro. He was convicted of tax fraud and is Trump’s former real estate associate. Trump also discussed preemptive pardons for several White House advisers and staff including his daughter Ivanka Trump, son-in-law Jared Kushner, Stephen Miller, Mark Meadows, Rudy Giuliani, and others.
