Hip-Hop Is More Than Music. It's A Lifestyle.

Drakeo The Ruler Says Youngsters Aren’t Listening To Snoop Dogg

Los Angeles rapper Drakeo The Ruler says that the younger generation is not listening to hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg’s music.

The 26-year-old “Cold Devil” rapper took to his Twitter on Monday to get a few things off of his chest regarding the state of west coast rap and why he believes that he is the best in music hailing from L.A.

He kicked off his Kanye West-reminiscent rant by tweeting, “HOW NIGGAS GONE BE MAD AT ME CUS THEY DONT HAVE MY WORK ETHIC.” This sparked a Q&A with his fans and even critics on the social media app.

Seemingly fired up and eager to prove a point, Drakeo took aim at Snoop, tweeting, “I DONT CARE WHO YOU BRING UP OG RAPPER NEW SCHOOL RAPPER YOU CANT NAME ONE RAPPER THATS MORE INFLUENTIAL THAN ME IN CALIFORNIA.” He then responded to a fan who criticized him for claiming to be more influential than the “Gin & Juice” MC by stating, “NO NAME ONE N***A age 14 to 28 THAT LISTENS TO SNOOP DOGG BRO.”

During the seemingly unprovoked attack on fellow rappers from L.A., Drakeo also gloated of beating his murder case and being the motivation for every other rapper in the industry. He says that he has inspired today’s fashions and music, though many users disputed his claims.

Drakeo seems to be on an ego-trip following the release of his collaboration with Drake last month titled, Talk To Me.”

Snoop Dogg has not responded to the rapper regarding his shady tweets.
