Internet Money made their national television debut, delivering a very yellow “Lemonade” performance alongside Gunna, Don Toliver & NAV on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
The single, which was initially released back in August, is certified platinum as of last month.“Lemonade” has accumulated over 316 million streams on Spotify and reigns the #1 spot on Spotify’s US Top 50 and #2 on Rap Caviar.
The pre-recorded performance had a creative yet simple yellow aesthetic. Surrounded by hundreds of lemons and shined in yellow light, each of the featured artists took their turns stepping into the spotlight to rap their verses.
Produced by hitmakers TazTaylor, Nick Mira, Pharaoh Vice and E-Trou, “Lemonade” is a laid-back hit that delivers creative lines with easy-goingmelodies over the sound of gently plucked guitars.
“Lemonade” is currently #8 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart (peaked at #6) and #7 on their Global 200 chart (peaked at #6). The song recently climbed to the number one spot of Mediabase’s Rhythmic airplay chart. Just last week, Internet Money dropped a new remix of “Lemonade” featuring 6x Multi-Platinum-selling Reggaeton artist Anuel AA.
With more than 18 million streams in Spanish-speaking territories alone, the new remix arrives in celebration of the single’s success both in the U.S. and around the world.
Their latest project, B4 The Storm, includes a heavy tracklistwith some of the rap industry’s hottest emcees. Produced completely by Internet Money, B4 The Storm features songs with artists such as Future, Swae Lee, Juice WRLD, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Wiz Khalifa, Kevin Gates and more.
Taz Taylor, multi-platinum producer and founder of Internet Money Records, said “I’ve been so tunnel vision during the last five years to make sure I got to this point. It was just like, let’s keep building.” And they did just that. Internet Money has racked up a whopping 200 gold and platinum plaques between all the producers on their team with only four years in the game.
