Kodak Black opened up about the depression he’s feeling behind bars. Kodak, who is in the middle of serving a 46-month federal prison sentence for weapons charges, sent out a series of tweets.
“Lonely. Sad. Depressed. Pray For Sanity,” Kodak tweeted. “Lord Restore My Heart. Take What’s Broken And Make Whole Again.”
Kodak’s and his legal team have made several attempts to shorten his sentence and get his freedom back, to no avail. Just this month, a request was denied by federal prosecutors, who stated the motion failed to follow any legal procedures. And lacked a reason why Kodak should be granted less time.
“We Need To Have Peace, We Need To Have Law And Order,” the rapper continued. He was presumably referencing the riots that took place at the Capitol on Wednesday, calling for peace.
The Florida rapper, arrested in 2019, is serving time for unlawfully possessing firearms and marijuana. According to court documents, he also pled guilty to two counts of “knowingly making false and fictitious written statements connected with the acquisition and attempted acquisition of firearms from a federally licensed firearms dealer.
