Lil Durk & Lil Baby Joint Album Nearly Complete

Lil Baby and Lil Durk

Lil Durk and Lil Baby dominated 2020 and kicked off 2021 strong. These two powerhouses are now coming together to release a joint project that is said to be nearly finished.

Having been sparked by a Twitter user suggesting that the two drop a joint album, Baby confirmed that the project was on the way during a March 15th interview with MTV News. The “On Me” artist revealed that he and Durk had been “locked in every night” to get the project completed.

While Lil Durk is known as “The Voice” for his unique singing capabilities, Baby, on the other hand, has amassed his fanbase by way of heavy bars and quick punchlines. Nevertheless, the QC signee promises that the collab album, likely titled “The Voice of the Heroes,” will combine the best components of each rapper’s unique style.

“We gotta go both ways. We got songs where we’re just bars. We got songs where…you know, the vibe. We got songs with other people that’s just remakes of other songs. It’s gon’ be one of the craziest albums to ever come out.”

Neither rapper has unveiled a release date. However, several news outlets have reported a possible summer release. It is also unclear if the album will be released before or after Lil Baby’s 4PF label compilation mixtape, “Lamborgini Boys.” That project was meant to introduce the world to the 4PF roster. However, the rapper confirmed that the COVID-19 pandemic forced the album to be postponed.

The forthcoming record is sure to spawn several hits and set the streets ablaze whenever it does make its debut.
