Hip-Hop Is More Than Music. It's A Lifestyle.

Megan Thee Stallion “Cry Baby” Video Ft. DaBay

Megan Thee Stallion released her long-awaited video for her single “Cry Baby,” off her debut album “Good News.” Featuring DaBaby, the video is set in a toy store. Its aesthetics pays homage to the children’s movie Toy Story

Social media influencer Kwaylon Rogers, better known by his stage name “Blameitonkway,” makes a brief cameo to start off the video. Sporting his seafoam “Titi” green wig Rogers creates a dialogue between two dolls before leaving the toy shop. Which kicks off the video.

DaBaby’s verse comes in first. While standing on a display of toy soldiers, he raps, “Her friends and her mom hate me./Lay down on the bed; do the cry baby.”

The video toggles between Megan Thee Stallion twerking in different colorful outfits and wigs while DaBaby delivers his verse. Once he lays out his verse, Megan comes in donning a long wig with two gigantic hairballs. Meg jumps in with her signature, “Wah, wah, wah./ Real hot girl s***”

Overall, the video is a twerk-filled, nostalgic take on the song. Paired with Megan Thee Stallion’s “Don’t Stop,” visuals seem to signal her pivot into more animated visuals.
