North Carolina native rapper Morray drops the official video to his latest single, “Kingdom.” Released on February 5, “Kingdom,” has over 417k views with 35k likes on YouTube.
Produced by ForeignGotEm and Dzimi. And directed by collaborator JaxofNorth, “Kingdom,” showcases Morray as he delivers his soulful vocals and expressive lyrics. While passing out CDs in front of a local store and spending time with family and friends in the neighborhood. The soulful trap artist wants people to see even with the money, the mansion, and the cars, you never forget where you come from.
“I just want a kingdom for my Queen. / A castle for my team. / Money for the baby college fund. / Fla-dap flexing on em one on one. / Can’t believe it’s time. / I’m finally getting mine. / On a cloud living on a high.”
The 28-year-old who almost gave up on music joined forces with Moe Shalizi, the founder of the entertainment and management company Shalizi Group. Since then, Morray has dropped several singles. Including his breakout hit “Quicksand,” which was released in October 2020. “Quick Sand” has amassed over 21 million streams on YouTube, 11 million Spotify streams, and 9 million streams on Apple Music.
Following “Quicksand,” he released “Switched Up,” “Low-Key,” “Dreamland,” and “Big Decisions.” Morray has consistently delivered music for the streets to vibe to. In just a short time and few singles in rotation. Morray has received high praises for his soulful lyrics and his authenticity from North Carolina’s J Cole and DaBaby.
