While the rapper was not harmed in the shooting, his then-girlfriend Kaylyn Long was wounded, and a bullet grazed a 5-year-old child who was nearby. Sadly, 43-year-old Mohamad Jradi lost his life during the shooting when a bullet entered his vehicle and struck him in the head.

While it is unclear why Youngboy, whose real name is Kentrell Gaulden, is at the center of the investigation. A source close to the situation told WAFB that state and federal law enforcement in Louisiana has been working closely with authorities in Florida to look further into the case.
