Austin’s rapper Dubbo is determined to make his name known in the hip hop game. He released his latest single and video, “Ben 10,” produced by The Bird House in December 2020, which currently has over 556,000 views on YouTube.
“Ben 10” is Dubbo’s first single after signing a deal with Babygrande Records. On “Ben 10,” Dubbo incorporates his animated sounds with his raunchy appeal to deliver a cascade of evocative bars that gives listeners an outlook on the daily life of trapping in the trenches.
According to HiphopDx, As a part of his recently inked deal with Babygrande. Dubbo has also landed a joint venture label deal for his Texas-based imprint, Double O Records, which will be helmed by indie executives Donnie Cash and Cady Falkner.
Double O Records and The Bird House are two movements that impart a palpable synergy, evidenced by Bird and Dubbo’s extensive collaborative catalog. The Babygrande expansion comes at an auspicious time for the company, as 2021 will mark the independent label’s 20th anniversary.
Babygrande CEO Chuck Wilson tells HipHopDX, “Dubbo is an extraordinary talent and businessman. He built a true machine at The Bird House with his producer Bird and Donnie Cash. It feels great to empower like-minded entrepreneurs. That has already demonstrated that they know what it takes to be successful.”
“Ben 10” is just a sample of what is yet to come from the Texas artist. Dubbo is competitive and ready to shake up the world.
