Pro Era Nyck Caution teams up with Denzel Curry on his aggressive new single, “Bad Day.” The song finds both emcees intensely rhyming over a sinister drill beat.
“Guess this is what a stone heart does /I’m a good guy /but just wait until I’m charged up /You don’t want to see me on a bad day.”
“Bad Day,” is the lead song off Nyck’s “Anywhere But Here,” album. Which was released on January 15 and comes in at a hefty 14 tracks. “Anywhere But Here,” serves as Nyck’s official solo debut album. The soulful and self-assured effort has Nyck exploring all angles of his personality.
The album features Pro Era comrade Joey Bada$, Elbee Thrie, Kota, Erick the Architect, and of course, Denzel Curry.
Nyck was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, and came up with the Pro Era collective. The 26-year-old rapper quickly became a staple in the NYC rap scene, appearing on projects by Joey Bada$, as well as Beast Coast’s Escape From New York and A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes Vol. 2.
He connected with Pro Era producer/rapper Kirk Knight for Nyck @ Knight, generating tens of millions of streams on Spotify alone. After releasing an EP this summer to critical acclaim, “Anywhere But Here,” serves as the official follow up to the 2016 EP, “Disguise The Limit.”
