Power Book III: Raising Kanan Official Trailer Released, Set To Premiere Summer 2021

With “Power Book ll: Ghost coming to an end. The next chapter of the Starz drama series, “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” is set to premiere in summer of 2021.

According to Revolt, just days before the new year, 50 Cent and Starz released the official trailer to “Power Book III: Raising Kanan.” This third installment of the series will focus on Kanan Starks in his younger days while growing up in Southside, Jamaica Queens.   This series stars a new cast featuring Mekai Curtis who will be playing young Kanan, Hailey Kilgore as Kanan’s cousin Jukebox, Joey Bada$ as Unique, Omar Epps as Detective Malcolm Howard and more.

“Power Book III: Raising Kanan” set to premiere this Summer, comes on the heels of “Power Book II: Ghost” which premiered on Starz in September 2020. In an Instagram post 50 Cent, the executive producer reveals he is bringing the heat in the third chapter. 

“I think your gonna really dig Raising Kanan,” 50 said about the series in his caption. “I’m coming with some heat. From executive Curtis 50 cent Jackson #bransoncognac #lecheminduroi.”

The new series to the “Power” trilogy will have a new theme song by 50 Cent called “Part of the Game” featuring NIE Chopper and Rileyy Lanez. The video is set to premiere Sunday following the finale of “Power Book III: Raising Kane” on the STARZ app.
