Señoj, a native of Atlanta, continues to impress the ears of fans and music execs alike. The r&b songstress’s latest song to her portfolio of music, ‘Lost,’ is an emotional journey of lost love.
Produced by Emmy Award-winning Director and Cinematographer Thang Ho, ‘Lost’ allows Señoja to release her deep emotions from a previous relationship. “Before writing ‘Lost,’ says Señoj. “I realize that I was fixated on a person’s potential in a relationship, rather than who they were. I wanted the perfect relationship. So, I ignored what was in front of me. ‘Lost’ is about me coming to terms with what I was doing and talking it out with myself.”
A daughter of a music teacher, Señoj’s voice is mellifluous. The VP of SoundCloud Repost, Jeff Ponchick, calls her voice an “alluring style of modish R&B.” Inspired by the likes of Destiny’s Child and Christina Aguilera. And professionally trained in classical piano and self-taught to play the guitar. Señoj is a rising star who brings versatility to the genre and is exactly what contemporary r&b fans want.
“When fans comes up to you and expresses how your music touches them. There are no words to describe how great that makes me feel,” says Señoj.
The recipient of the Grammy’s Songwriter Camp, the Ella Fitzgerald Songwriter Award, Señoj hopes to bring inspiration from her experiences to all music fans. “I write about the things I’m going through, because it’s always easier to heal when you know you’re not alone.”
Señoj is currently in the studio working with the two-time Grammy-Award-winning producer Slikk Muzik. Who is credited for producing tracks for Chris Brown and Ariana Grande. When it comes to her career. Señoj wants to emulate some of the female icons of the music industry.
