Saweetie and Quavo Address Elevator Altercation; LAPD Wants To Investigate

Saweetie and Quavo better get lawyered up because one or both could be faced with domestic violence charges. Saweetie and Quavo both address an altercation that occurred in an elevator which has gotten worldwide media attention. According to TMZ, the Los Angeles Police Department has viewed the footage from the elevator incident and want to have a talk with the former love birds separately about what happened.

In the video footage, the two artists appear to be tussling over a video game console where Saweetie swings at Quavo. Quavo then grabs her by the arm and slings her against the elevator wall, and then they both hit the floor. Quavo then held the elevator opened while Saweetie walked out limping.

Thursday, April 1, two days after TMZ posted a video of the elevator altercation between Saweetie and Quavo, Saweetie had something to say. The 27-year-old released a statement to TMZ saying that the incident between her and her ex was an unfortunate incident that happened a year ago. She added that although they had reconciled since then there were other obstacles to overcome in their relationship that just caused them to go their separate ways.

Quavo, 30, also released a statement also calling the incident unfortunate adding that they both learned and moved on from. The frontman of the group Migos added that he haven’t abused the “My Type” female rapper and has real gratitude for what they shared overall.

Last month after dating for over two years, Saweetie confirmed the break-up with Quavo on Twitter saying she was single and suffered too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes.

“I’m single. I’ve endured too much betrayal and hurt behind the scenes for a false narrative to be circulating that degrades my character. Presents don’t band aid scars and the love isn’t real when the intimacy is given to other women,” Saweetie tweeted.

Saweetie added that she emotionally checked out a long time ago and has walked away with a deep sense of peace and freedom.
